RCMP Morinville Entered into Drug Investigation
Morinville, Alberta - In the early morning hours of April 15th, 2016, Morinville RCMP members responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint in rural Sturgeon County, Alberta. Upon arrival members identified the driver as a person well known to police and observed drug paraphernalia within the vehicle. As a result, the member entered into a drug investigation. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in a seizure of what is believed to be cocaine and methamphetamine. A set of brass knuckles was also locate and seized.
Kyle Brian BEREZAN age 30 of Yellowhead County was charged today with several offences including Controlled Drugs and Substances charges. He will appear in Morinville Provincial court on April 21st, 2016.
No further details will be released as this matter is presently before the courts.
